Everything you need to know to join the ever-growing dog park within Bark ‘n Yapp. From creating an account to resetting your password.
A User account on Bark ‘n Yapp is based around a dog owner and their dog. It is for personal, non-commercial use of the website, and should not be used to promote a business, event, or website. We currently only support one dog per account, but are working hard to allow you to register multiple dogs within your account.
Business owners interested in using Bark ‘n Yapp should go to our business website to understand more about Business accounts. However, if a business owner is also a dog owner, we encourage them to open a personal User account as well as a Business account. A business owner should never use their personal User account to promote or review their own business, or review their competitors business. Our Review Guidelines give you more information on acceptable reviews.
You are required to sign up for a User account to see and interact with the listings. This means searching, reviewing, rating and bookmarking locations. Bark ‘n Yapp is a community-driven information site and in order to be part of the community you need to have an active User account. This will help other members of the community know that you are a dog owner and someone who is better suited to provide them information.
In the Main Menu above go to Join The Pack!
You can choose to create an account by clicking Login with Facebook, or by entering your name, email address and a password and clicking Register.
Once you have created an account you will be brought to Your Account settings page to complete your account profile. We encourage you to complete as much of your profile as possible, and don’t forget to include a picture of your pup!
Within Your Account you can change your User Name, Email, Dog’s Name, Dog Breed, City, Neighbourhood, Photo, Password and Communication Preferences.
